The volunteers prepare students for a visit to the Museum with background information and art activities. A partnership, begun in 1976, between the Tyler Museum of Art and the Tyler Independent School District, enables all students from two elementary grade levels to come to the Museum for a workshop tour. This year all 2nd grade and 5th grade students in TISD will participate. If your school or district is interested in arranging a similar type of program, please call the Education Department at (903) 595-1001 for more information. Back to Education |
